Not able to sneak up on Jack Winter Wonderland

I got to the part in the secret winter wonderland quest in the park where the sprites are dancing to distract Jack, and my sim is supposed to sneak up on him. It appears I am unable to do so due to the position of either the sprites or Jack. When I hit the bubble above Jack it states one second, I choose sneak, and I get the no place bubble on my sim. I attached a screen shot. I am stuck, and am not sure what to do, or if this is a glitch. Thank you for any help

    @GudulaG

    Have your sim walk away so that your sim is in front of jack. Maybe to the statue. Then try it again so your sim is going toward jack from the front.

    I'm doing the ice palace challenge. I need to creep up on Jack Frost in the park but am unable as the ice imps are too close and my sim refuses to go near him.... any ideas please. I reset the game but still the same issues, I've tried 3 different sims, sent them all home then brought one back again. Looks like I may miss this task at this rate

    Hey I really need help, Im at the part where i have to sneak up on jack, but the snow sprites are in the way so my sim cant walk to jack. Unfortunately restarting my device hasn’t worked at all :/

    Thank you for the thought, but I have tried many different angles for an approach, but none worked. And just for kicks and giggles i tried using different aged sims. Nothing works.

    I've reinstalled 3 times. I've tried approaching Jack from every position. I've restarted my device several times. Nothing I do is working as I can't sneak up on Jack. This is terribly aggravating since I've invested so much in this game. I am at the end of my patience with this game. Over 3 years of playing it seems a waste now. Please tell me there's a way to fix this before I lose this quest like so many others....

    I can't sneak up on Jack Frost in the park as the frost figures are in the way... Can you help me solve the problem and continue through the quest??? Please help...

    No, I only got a reply back that they have a more than usual volume and that it might be a while before they can get back to me. We'll see. In the meantime the rest of the quest is just passing me by...
