What would be the point the only way to see the marketplace is to click on it.

Yes, and no.

Yes, if it toggled off the ugly moola amount in the top right corner on the main screen, and no advertisements at all would be a dream for many.

But even if they just reduced it to only a Marketplace tab, I'd be fine with that.
