I only get halfway (and I don't need it explained to me) how Moola might be good for creators, but not really the customer. WHY?? It seems redundant and it's not just an overspending issue for those who have a "work around" for that. It's a of time to buy the Moola that equals the same amount of money that I'm buying something and then to buy it with the Moola.... sigh.... unbelievable. If there is a possible work around out there, then Maxis SHOULD HAVE MOOLA AS AN OPTION ONLY for players who don't mind being redundant and taking that extra step and allow people like me who think it's a waste of time to be able to just buy it outright, directly. Also, if you're on Steam, just add money to your wallet. This addition is outright ridiculous to me. Leave the Sims to spend Moola. Use your own money to expand their world!
EDIT: There is also the issue of the mandatory updates which that include these marketplace features and can break game functionality and make it impossible to play offline, which is something I prefer to do.
I'm still recovering from LAST AUGUST / OCTOBER game break. It's taken a few months to try to get it back in working order, and that's not even with all my mods returned when I had another massive game break in January and now having to recover from a March 15th. That's trying to fix my game more than I'm actually able to enjoy playing it.
