The Winter warm-up event is coming back the 3rd of may 2020. Event duration: 7 days. The beach towels, reward of step 1 produce 125 duckies each 12 hours so remember to take them out of inventory as soon as the event starts. Players who have done this event previously will get a duplicate. Unfortunately having 2 beach towels will not double the number of duckies produced. We can collect duckies from Winter warm-up events, regular events and Llama Zoom. Duckie bags that contain duplicates of furniture and other build mode items will give a duplicate of the item. According to the information I have, there will be compensation for duplicates of CAS items. Home Spa event (part 7 and 16) is a 12 hours event with 9 hours cooldown. Swanky swimwear and Spa-side snacks (part 10, 14, 19 and 22) are 6 hours events with 6 hours cooldown. Save 5 stickers for part 9. I agree that 1200 duckies seems like a lot, but I can attest that it is doable. The quest runs for 7 days, and we're already at least 17 steps in. And if you have cupcakes to spare, if you use at least one on the quest activites, not only do you get through them that much faster but you'll also get 90 extra duckies. And unlike with the STSs, you also get duckies for finishing LlamaZooms. I hope this info is helpful to new players, and good luck to everyone participating this throwback old-style quest.

I am so disappointed & aggravated that FM didn’t go with the way the “ old school” events USED to be played. That’s why they were so much fun! I (foolishly) thought we would be able to get any remaining items or color swatches we didn’t get the first go round.... but Noooooo! Now I’m getting even MORE duplicates to go into my already over-crowded Storage. The compensation is a nice touch but, I don’t need 3 Hot Tubs but only 3 color choices 🙄I’m happy for the newer players to get this chance, but, come on, EA, us Veteran 50+ Level players have gotten you guys to this place. Where are our NEW. Careers, Hobby & Relationship Stories? New Heirlooms? New Izzy items? I don’t mean to be a 🦀 about all this, but could we get updates, glitch-less game fixes & improvements before jumping into the next new shiny thing? OK, I will say one positive thing- the May the 4th event is brilliant! Thank you for that Happy Surprise

I honestly thought they had changed this event and removed the duplicates ... but no, extremely disappointed. Now I remember why I never liked these type of events, too many duplicates... it is impossible to get something valuable if you are a fair player ... no thanks.Remove duplicates.

How many times do I have to get the same green underwear. It changes into simoleons but really. What's up with the random selection.
I played and played. Then when I completed the quest, it was anticlimatic because all I got was a bar.
Then to keep getting the same green underwea.....SMH!

I was looking forward to get the illuminated wall and swimwear for my sims. I did get them and some.. Oh man.. the duplicates 😆 Sooo many colors, trees and chairs 😄
I got a hottub 15 hours before the event end and happy to get it even though that wasn’t on my expectations. 🥳 Also happy to get 90 SimCash 👍
STS and this style of event are equally good (read: both suck as much on their own way) 😆

@jayivy666 I tried that and opened 27 bags once. I tried every combinations -open 1 bag, open 3 bags, open dozens of bags etc.- 🙂

...well it is really luck....and its a bit harder now to get them expect you have that luck. I got some regular pools but not the golden one i still would like to get.
I got 30 trees ..lol..i can build a garden center now...

I got ithe golden tub and my game crashed ..now i am trying to contact Fire Monkeys because EA sent me there with to open a ticket for it.

Hm i have no idea if i will get it back.

I think i was very lucky really got some of normal pools and a new pretty colour for the hot tub.

But with the golden one it was a big unluck...

This moment when the game crashed i was so angry 😖😂

Well its only a game and at least they brought the event back because we have asked for this.

It was fun even that i lost the golden one..at least i got the white pool now..looks very nice

Well i am still collecting..you know the hope will die at least..lol...

I really hope you will have a bit luck and get a hot tub now during the last hours. 😊💕

And i hope they will bring more reruns.
