It might be because girls have better clothing? I have a bunch of sparkly clothing, armor with a flower crown, a shirt with a halo and a dress that has a sweaty animation. But for my guys, most of them are dusty or are hard to make a shirt or shoes work with it.
It's true that female clothing is a bit more varied. But I can't complain *too* much about Izzy, he's come through for my guys: I have a pirate outfit with a flower crown, a bubbling gladiator outfit and flaming pants. Still, they don't rack in as many stickers as my gals...
And dressing your Sims to the sticker theme that you need helps. The sunglasses help get "cool" stickers, something funny may help get "silly" stickers. And I found, if I go to a party using the Sim who needs the most stickers, that Sim will get any folks have out to me. Hope this helps a little!
