Having a baby sim takes 2 super sim tickets (blue) to have a baby sim. This is the best route as you can interact with it while it grows up and it will have a bonus trait "good upbringing" that will give you a bonus to everything you do.
I'm sorry but I don't remember how many it takes to create a sim (other than the baby route). I only use sims that have been born into the family or have been born into a friend's family and moved over in marriage. I really like the good upbringing bonus.
I saved up 100 fashion gems and l... I failed. I wish I got the wings for the girls but no ☹️
