Re: I lost all everything

I post in Thai community fan page to show how bad EA respond to this issue

I had unable to log in to my acoount for 3-4 day all EA SAY was my case in good hand

But no i find a way to enter myself when EA relay 2 week later they say congrat but dont know what the bug was

That was very unreponsibility for the company this big. You are not reponsible for the damage you cause!

  • It really is so bad. And I honestly wouldn’t care if I Hadn't spent money on the game.

I spoke to them yesterday... they said it’s happening to a lot of people who’s phone battery dies while playing the game. They asked a few questions (my level, heirlooms, jobs and hobbies that were maxed, etc.) and also asked for the player ID of the account that replaced mine so hopefully that means they’ll try to credit the new account in whatever way they can... hopefully

Is it possible to speak to them without knowing your player ID? I can't access it because I'm stuck on the tutorial and I don't know what I can do now.

That's why u should have took a screenshot of your player ID for just incase something happens & that something has happen to u & u don't know your player ID cause u didn't do the screenshot.
If the tutorial gives u a new game. It won't be the same player ID as the game u lost. It will be different.

Next time remember to take a screenshot of your player ID!

Nowhere in the game does it say to take a screenshot of the player ID. But it does say to log in through EA, Social Media etc. to prevent this exact thing from happening. The only way anyone would know to take a screenshot or write down the player ID is if they’ve had account problems before, or they’ve seen elsewhere that someone had a problem and couldn’t do much without the number.

Yes you can speak to an EA rep without knowing your Player ID, but it could take longer before you see any results. It’s been a week and a half and I’ve obly just got someone working to restore my account last night.

But without your player ID they’ll need to collect other information, for me they started with my IP address. They used that (I guess) to locate any saves they can find connected to it.. for me they first ended up granting me my sisters account. After I let them know it was wrong (the rep had a feeling it wasn’t right because it showed recent daily activity) she asked for all the information I remembered about my account so that she can try and “rebuild it”

Fortunately, last Friday, I received an email from EA, saying, they need my level, how many sims, hobbies and careers completed, and heirlooms completed. I replied with my information. Yesterday, EA told me that they can restore my items... They say, the need several days to restore my items... I was lucky

Seems like that’s what’s happening to me too. But first they asked for my IP address, I guess they wanted to see if they could find my save... first they ended up granting me a save from my sisters game, and when I let the rep know she asked for all the other information. I wish she’d email more than once every day or two though. But I guess as the problem becomes more widespread, they’ve got more cases to handle
