@EA_Solaire I also accessed the game on my iPad using my apple ID. My iPad software is updated and the device itself is a new model. I still had this issue of being unable to purchase a new plot of land.

Have you checked if you're being prompted to run through the tutorial for the current Sims Festival? You may need to complete that in order for this error to go away.
- @EA_Solaire I don't see any tutorial I need to complete. This is the third Sims Festival I've had that I still can't purchase land through. What tutorial do you mean?
