Unable to make purchases

Hi y'all. I'm unable to make purchases from the game (but thank goodness it's not freezing now)! There's a dialog that says "Please restart the game to continue the transaction," though there's no sort of confirmation (ex. touch ID, face ID) I went through before the dialog popped up. What should I do?
