A few Tweaks that will breath new air into the game.

Hi everyone,

I'll go right to the point for a few tweaks I think will bring new air into the game.

1. For each and every (and any .. :)) winning alliance that takes the FF, the server will - f.ex. after 7 DAYS - automatically & randomly relocate ALL the members of the latest winning alliance (regardless of whether they belong or have left the alliance right after the destruction of FF) to the 36+ zone or even further than the FF. This happens for every player, EVERY time this player wins the FF whether it's his 1st or Nth win .

There , they will NOT be allowed to move closer than 200 boxes near the FF for 30 days ("the 'COOLING' period"). After that, they play the game normally as always.

I do not think I have to point out the obvious advantages for every1 involved.. no more world domination by the "heavies" who happened to win 2 years ago f.ex. and are STILL stationed 20-30 BOXES AROUND THE FF, DICTATING "TRAFFIC" if u get my drift.

The other alliances will immediately start competing for the FF, POI fights will go ballistic, great PvP , new strategies & tactics and as u realize, gaming / funds & FUN will hit the roof. The previous winners are always - after a month of "cooling" - able to offer assistance to the less powerful alliances IF these alliances want them to, and NOT the other way round. In my view this should be implemented to all worlds of course.

2. "Peek" Tweak : As long as a MEMBER of the alliance is within ATTACK radius of bases of other alliances (not forgotten bases) , every other member - NEVER an ally as this is a spoiler - of that Alliance can have the same base VIEW / INFO as the member within attack radius. In other words he can "Visit" the base normally too, even from the other side of the world.

3. While on "MOVE recovery" turn the 'move' button orange (just a suggestion :D ) in color and the 'move line ' in some dotted form f.ex., and allow "pseudo" move . In essence , while the player waits-out the move recovery he can "move" around and see where he "could" move next but NOT actually move until his move recovery is reset.

4. When hitting camps/outposts with CRATES , please do allow for OFFENSE REPAIR TIME crates too . It's only fair , and be a just a tad generous with the levels of RT in the crate pls.. :) .

Hope you people really consider these. They will skyrocket an already good game. You can always put these into voting too, if you want to check the pulse of CCTA fans. I think every1 will appreciate it .

Many thanks

Thor

  • I appreciate the thought that you have put into this.

What is to stop them getting the 2nd alliance of their choosing in position to take the POI'S before they shoot the fortress? It already takes a lot of co-ordination, a little more won't be difficult.

The time between fortress hits on many worlds is more than the 30 days, it will simply mean they will have to dig back through the opposing alliances or work their way through friendly ones and the forgotten.

I think changes should only be put in place on new worlds with the rules set out before hand. I do not like them changing the rules of a game in the middle of the play.

This can be done already with co-operation of your alliance members via cncOpt. But having it built in would be nice.

    3. While on "MOVE recovery" turn the 'move' button orange (just a suggestion :D ) in color and the 'move line ' in some dotted form f.ex., and allow "pseudo" move . I think there is a script that does this already - or something similar. http://dl.project-exception.net/script/city_move_info_extend_min.user.js

When the rt crates were first given out as compensation we were told they would never be on sale and would not be part of the normal crate system available by killing camps. You can now buy instant rt crates as part of a bundle. So maybe they'd consider this.
  • 1) For all suggestions I have read about what should happen after a end game, it is always about punishing the biggest players in one way or another. These are usually the people that have spent the most money and time in the game, so it is difficult to implement an mechanic that balances the game in a way that it won't be unfair for these members. The intensions of all suggestion are of course good, and I am totally aware of how certain alliances act regarding the End game que, but as the game is now, I don't think there is a way to balance it that makes sense to all players.

    2) I agree, this should be implemented. Since it can be done via cooperation and cncopt as gamerdruid says, the developers should spare us the extra work and just add it to the game ^^

Thanks, I wasn't aware of this, just checked and found out it is terrible expensive, but it seems like a must in the beginning of a world if the goal is to quickly gain a high rank.

Oh, and for the fun of it, I give you my own version of how what should be done after we have done an End game B)
When we have participated in an End game, we can take advantage of the tunnels and go underground. We select the bases we want to take with us (maybe max 3), and once underground we enter a void that include fog of war, and a big varity of high level forgotten camps, bases, infected, guardians, fortresses etc, and would require more team work than on the ground. The remaining bases above the ground will suffer penalty in uprade costs and attack bonuses (for instance, POI bonus won't work while some you have some bases underground). Also, the minimum time between enter the underground and getting back up is another End game. You would also have to use the same tunnel to get back to the ordinary world, and if it is surrounded by bases belonging to other players, you would need their approval to return through the tunnel.

Something like this would in my opinion be the ultimate game experience after an end game, but since it pretty much means that they would have to develop a completely new game, I know it will never be done, but heck, we're allowed to dream, right? :D o:)
