Change the allowed Innacive time on server

HI All,

Since C&C TA is a live time game; I find it really strange to allow 6 months (!!) of inactivity on a server before all your bases get automaticly blown up.
I agree it is good that if you reconnect at any point you can still respawn them but I would shortage the time of inactivity allowed before self destruction.

This would clear up servers, make POI's free and allow proper digging for lower level players and new comers.
I would say 1 month could be enough. Allowing periodic "resets" of servers.

It is simple to put together; would the dev consider this option?

    i guess in servers with a higher max level it would take a lot of time to accumulate the amount of power required to hit those last few levels but im on your side in this and to go one step further i am of the opinion that badged accounts should be removed from the server entirely.

    Well I get what you mean, but that doesn't carry any extra Fort attempt on the server wich is the goal of the game.

    Inactivity for a few months to charge power seems quite an ineficient way to play to me. Please don't take it rude, let me explain my POV. You have multiple bases on a server so you should be taking turns to charge power and develope multiple offenses. That said, you play as you please and I have nothing to say about it.
    To come back to the subject, reducing the inactivity time could rejuvenate quicker servers even if I get it won't content everybody especially if you have periodic times of more or less inactivity during the year.

    theres been arguments for extending the time because it takes so much resources namely power to upgrade near the max levels that a player could set aside the game for quite some time overa year even before accumulating the power needed to initiate an upgrade. account inactivity triggering base destruction after 6 months seems to be a fair compromise as i believe it was once 12 months and before that there was no inactivity self destruction at all. players that are inactive for 6 months may only play during a certain time of year when they are less busy, take me for example im a roofer and rarely have time to play in spring summer and fall however i can be very active in winter and its not uncommon for me to log into old servers when i have the time to during the winter months. the 6 month self destruct feature is not particularly enjoyable for me i wouldve preffered 12 months but im not complaining as im of the opinion no server should ever last longer than 6 months unless it is reset entirely.
