- And in my opinion, all old worlds should be removed completely and instead transfer the resources used on server rent/maintenace to make new major upgrades (because it's about time!!) instead of only patching and adding minor features.... B)
- I'm not sure about it saving much as they are virtual servers, but I agree with you about a definite closing of old worlds. It seems odd to me that worlds are kept open 'forever' even when the number logging in is a tiny proportion of those originally on the world.
Prime examples for closure, to me, are the old style worlds (CB1/2, 1-108) and the country/language specific ones, the Vet servers and the 'World Championship' servers. As one is introduced of the Vet and WC types, the oldest should be closed.
Yes, some have resources and caps they have bought, but it will be very few. Some way of transferring them from the old world to a setting for a new version must be possible to be found as the resources are in a database and not directly connected to EA's funding system. - ooooft .. @methuselah ... whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy do u still plod on there ?????????????????????
- the guy is nostalgic I guess :P
- methuselahRetired Herohehehe unfinished business I guess. I started in CB1 the day it opens and I fancy being there the day it closes. Because power comes so slow, no one has a 65/65/65 base.
I intend to do exactly that. "methuselah;c-1949956" wrote:

If they just announce the closing you can be there when it closes... lol
No... I can actually understand that point of wanting to get to 65/65/65 :)
/Key- Well, it is simple: If inactives in my alliance have their bases and scores saved, it means they can log in anytime AFTER 2 years and respawn everything, armies, defence and bases all.
I don't necessarily have a problem with that. But I know if they can do that, any moron can do it, including all the treacherous enemy accounts I have wiped out. If you claim they are gone, then they should be actually gone.
I will check to see if I have any world where I have had bases more than 2 years old, and see if I can login there - Which world is it that you're talking about? It is certainly the case that on some worlds accounts have been deleted. The publicly listed criteria is 2yrs inactive, but there may be more that the accounts you're seeing haven't met and we don't know about.
- W25. Can you actually do anything, or you are just here for show?

I hit 65/65/65 in 101 days and have one of (if not the) highest known power gen bases from old world.
