Well, you seem not to be the only one, so I made a note for the next patch. We will probably change it to the same tone that the active button has when viewing a base.

The active base will be identified two ways1. List of bases on right side of the screen; the active base will have that tab longer than the others, extending out2. The active base on the map will have an offcolored (usually lighter) ring around it and 'radiating'.I'd recommend rechecking your in game display options.

Your screen shot indicates the first base is not active though. All base tabs are the precise same length for every base visible.

The active base will be identified two ways
1. List of bases on right side of the screen; the active base will have that tab longer than the others, extending out
2. The active base on the map will have an offcolored (usually lighter) ring around it and 'radiating'.

I'd recommend rechecking your in game display options.

I'm talking only about the right side bar of bases

Look at my snapshot and describe differences between bases, remember, the first base is selected/active.

No idea then. I've never seen every base tab precisely the same length as being displayed for you and/or your world.

In the past the selected base was near to left in the bases bar and the rest of bases appears like tabbed.
In version ~~18.3 and~~ 19.1 I lose this tab space. I can't remember the version of this change.

This is a change within 19.1 I think - the length wasn't being correctly displayed. There is a slight shade difference when a base is currently selected, however, the shading is only visible when the base layout or army or defence view is selected, not in map view.
