Have a look at past trends and answer the question yourself. The question has been asked so many times, there are probably more posts about new worlds than all others combined.

Go to the new world browser, open the dev console and get yourself a list of all the server open dates.

Save the output as a csv file, open in excel and analyze to your heart’s content and maybe you’ll find an answer.

Based on the cumulative server count, the opening of new servers has remained pretty constant since around 2018. Without taking into account that special worlds often release close to normal worlds, using world data since 2018, the average time before a new world opens is 33.6 days with a standard deviation of 20.1.



I’m going to play devil’s advocate and assume that this data is nice which it’s not by the way (You are totally at the developer’s whims) and assume the days since the last server was released can be modelled with a normal distribution.



The last server opened on the 22/07/2022; 15 days ago. It’s usually quoted that servers are generally opened after a month of the previous server and using the normal distribution, it can be extrapolated that there is a 49.01% chance that this will occur (a server opening between 22/08/2022 and 22/09/2022). This is of course, with rather hand wavey statistics and no error propagation.

Therefore, to answer your question, a new server will likely start sometime next month but maybe not until the next month.
