You nowhere describe trying to go to http://www.tiberiumalliances.com/logout
Depending on how you clear cache etc you may be missing a crucial file. Logging out via the link above should then let you log in and use the play button. (Don't try change server at that point!). Once in game you can either change via the in-game world changer or via webworld browser. Both should work.
I can't guarantee anything will work for you, but these actions work for me.
