Thats the first time i hear about this, so far simulations have always been accurate for me. Are you using any external scripts or tools for simulation?
Also wich world and browser do you use?
When simulating attacks make sure to update the simulation after EVERY change. Even a minor position change of a single unit can drastically alter the outcome of a battle.
