Project’s decision to retire was based on a few factors. One of which is what you all said, it killed competion—it did this by bringing in the teams who once fought each other.
Before project, the teams who fought against each other in servers were led by CiCs and officers who eventually joined project, some of which commanded project. The Coliation in WCS 2019 was the precursor to this.
What will eventually happen now that project is done is these CiCs/SiCs will start their own teams and are currently recruiting.
There will be some competition just as it was pre-project times even if that meant project members fighting each other. Whether the non-project teams or the community believes this or not, these are the facts.
