The old EA Login Page Back plz.

This is not at all convenient,

We are at home here with 3 men on one computer and all 3 have a separate account's. We used a script for saving our account's so that we can choose which ones we want to use so that i not have to enter my login each time. Now we have to log out extra, then you have to log in again, since we do not have such easy passwords for security is this definitely not useful!

Greetz,
  • Yes, this change is not a good idea. Put the old login page back on. I have multiple accounts and now can only log into one at a time. With this change the new session script doesnt work anymore.
  • I switched e-mail service 5 years ago. W38 has my old emails, I can't access the accounts and it doesn't recognize the passwords, and it doesn't help to reset the passwords because I changed email service, and around and around we go.
  • Yes, I have requested they change back to the way it was before the new log in. I commented to this issue on another thread, but all effected should also express their displeasure and anxiety of being kept from worlds that they are leaders and counted on daily for their leadership, not to mention the fact that players pay much money and should not be put through this especially without prior notice so they may know what is going to happen beforehand.
  • @AlexanderRogge

please try this: log out of your account via the website, clear all associated cookies of EA and TiberiumAlliances & Site Cache, then restart the browser and log back in.

Let me know if the problem still persists after that.
  • The main issue happens due to the old change world page not working either, thats where you go to select the world and you can't select one, all you can do is Play the one currently shown.. this is also why no Start New World option was available either. It's almost like people doing the developing here have never actually played the game as it is normally played.
  • The change of login scheme wasn't done by the developers, but by EA centrally in the USofA. Testing, as we can see, wasn't thorough as if it had been we'd not have seen the problems we have, or if they couldn't be resolved then we'd have been given ample warning (probably a week or two) to gain access to the multiple account user names and passwords.

Clearing cache, history and cookies and logging out of any and all things related to the game and EA.com seems to have worked for most people (along with using the webworldbrowser route) judging by the many comments on here.
  • I have to say the changes made are not good I have been playing for a while now and think perhaps I have being playing too long and maybe like a lot of people are thinking our loyalty to the game is being taken for granted
