Tiberium 13
Myself and another player have just spent hours attacking a much bigger bases which is part of an alliance we are at war with. After getting through to the base, we, along with some others in our alliance, were booted from the world and by the time we get back in some 15/20 minutes later, the defence has repaired. We are a determined alliance, so we go again, but this time I have to use smaller bases as I had used up all my repair time on the biggest. Along with the constant Post Combat Locks which seem to serve no purpose whatsoever except to give more powerful bases an even greater advantage, it takes even longer to get through to the base structures. Just as we are taking it in turns to hammer away at the structures and very close to destroying the base, we are booted out again. I tried numerous times to log back in but all failed. No error messages were received just constant freezing and pages not loading. There was not anything wrong with my internet connection or browser as I checked and I was able to access other websites. Now after about 30 mins of trying, it is finally saying the world is offline. Why I do not know? There have been no messages on the home page about the world being taken down for maintenance etc. As you can imagine it has cost a hell of alot in resources of blue, offence repair time and command points. I am not expecting any compensation because I know EA do not ever consider anything to be their fault. All I want is a comprehensive explanation as to why the world has gone offline.
However judging by all the previous forum threads raised over the last few months I do not expect a reason to be given. So I have to ask myself, why am I allowing myself to be treated with such contempt and the only conclusion I can come to, is I shouldn't.
There comes a time when enough is enough so unless EA put some effort and resources into fixing all the problems we are currently facing along with explaining what is happening, I see no point continuing to play this game as it will just keep occutring. I know I will not be missed at all by EA but at least I will have peace of mind.
