POI or not POI

In the start of this server it was very strange to play without POI`s, but now I actually like it, since now we are all 100% even, now it`s 100% how good the alliance works, the person who play there matter.

Therer are no "stealing POI`s" no robbing a whole alliance for it`s progress, which I think is very good.

It could be fun to try play a full game without POI`s, then we can always talk about what is best, but for now, I would like without POI`s.

Maybe upgrades could be cheaper ;-)

    This is way more fun it ask skills and tactics from players and make world more equal and not the one with biggest poi can win. this was callenge  for teams to find right tactics and base building. this should be standard in some worlds for sure

    The pte is not completely the same for everyone. There is or was a bug that allowed bases with 100k points (level 26💹) to be founded next to the control hub.

    The war was almost equal with the unlimited movements., Now that they have decided to add the POIs, the difference as grown.
    In any case, it is a test server.

    Now those small bases will produce the same as I do with their lvl 47 POIs🤣👁️‍🗨️.

    As for the cheaper upgrades, I don't see the point. No morale, PvE feels normal. Maybe in a normal world you can feel the difference because there's no starting bonus.

    The world without POI is very interesting, I like it.

    My feeling is as follows.

    All your life you've been driving a car to get from one place to another (that car is the POIs).

    Now they take your car away and you can still get from one place to another, but everything is harder, slower and worse.

    For me, POIs are important and part of the game from the start.

    You can still play, but it leaves a bad taste in your mouth. :-(

    Continuing with nefrontheone's example.

    Let's say we're in the American Wild West and we have to get from one place to another.

    We start with horses, then move on to wagons, later to cars, trains, planes... (POI)
    Now that we've had these means of transport for so long, they take them away and leave us to go everywhere on foot.

    That's how I feel now that they've taken away the POIs: abandoned and saddened by the increased workload and time spent doing the same things I was doing not long ago.

    I like without the POI's. More equal footing - each base has to stand on it's own (can still transfer tib / cry) interesting to change tactics. Does put more emphasis on the time you have to spend on the game and your tactics. Need to change the mission briefing / rewards as some are blocked without being able to get the POI's. Slower gameplay.
