why do updates happen unannounced while were in the middle of killing bases on the test server?

I like server with NO POI, as i think NO POI encourages all player to play better rather than just sucking up bonus which only a few have acquired for the whole alliance. With no bonus i am seeing my own inabilities and the need for self improvement. On another thought if we are having POI why not also have $$$ POI ?
