can't buy funds

There are many reasons you may not be able to buy funds. You need to be a lot more specific. Are you trying to buy them from the front page or via the in-game route, for example? If it is the in-game route then which world is it you're trying from and have you tried from alternative worlds?

Is it getting so far through the process and declining your method of payment? Are there any error messages?

i.ve bought funds plenty of times. never had any problems. but i'll log in. check out my bases. then i tried to buy funds and it says account. ea.com has redirected me too many times! i've never saw any warning about doing it wrong. and it never explained to do anything different. been buying funds sense January.

If you have been buying funds this way before successfully then I think you are doing nothing wrong here.
Are you using a new account that has not yet been verified?

Have you verified your registered email address for the account? The payment options usually rely on this.

This seems indeed like an error, however the payment portal is maintained by EA. I'm afraid I can't help you much more than pointing you to their helpdesk. They usually are quick to resolve issues with people unable to purchase.
