Moving my buildings kicks me out from the server..

I first accepted all of my packages from the past day and then proceeded to add an attack plane and upgraded it to the same level as my other planes. Then I started to upgrade a couple of buildings and decided to move them around instead. This is when the action started...

* I tried moving my primary buildings (the ones that can't sit beside each other)
* The system allows me to place them side by side in "Move" mode, but then after a couple of seconds it kicks me out of the server and resets (but not to the original positions that these buildings had before I moved them, it accepted the first moved position only)
* I then put 3 buildings in the proper order (a space between) and then placed a 4th one within one grid of another one and it allowed me to that too. Then a few moments later (probably 20-seconds) it kicked me out again.
* I now find that the game has also removed my upgrades to the plane I added as well as the upgrades to my other planes (but I haven't lost my upgrade inventory so that's cool)

** It would be better to just block the ability to move them side-by-side then kicking me out of the server.. (like it was BEFORE the last update ;-) Perhaps a bit tweaking here - send the user the old "Red Cross - Do Not Place Here" instead of the server kick-out (and have it stop removing my upgrades) - Much prettier result and less irritation :-) Good luck!

Maybe I should get back to software testing... I seem to find fun stuff every time I log on now-a-days Hahaha!

  • I've seen this behaviour before where it allows the main buildings to be side by side etc and then when you leave the server and return it hasn't moved moved them. I've also seen the other things you mention. They have all been as a result of a breakdown in communication between your machine, the servers and the databases that hold all the data.

It's not an intended 'feature' or a frequent one. Please, post your in-game name, the world you're on and an approximate time this happened (quote your timezone please) so that they can track it down.
  • Ok, it was lag in the internet. We had problems with one of our web links around that time. I'll check and see if it's till an issue today and get back to you.
  • Logged in today and now it works like it used to. It doesn't allow me to place a primary building beside another one. This is fixed now. Thx!
