The old forum is now dead, no longer visible.
In the month afer the announcement of the closure of the old forum we were given the opportunity to have old threads moved. No-one suggested the thread you're referring to so it is gone into the ether of the forgotten worlds. Except of course at the Wayback machine Archive!

This is old and outdated. References to time are based in 2017! So 'updated in June' means 'updated in June 2017'.

I tried to browse Web Archive, but I can't find the way around. A lot of error pages that Wayback crawler picked up at the time.
Answer I talk about was given by one of EA staff and it is about mechanics of forgotten attacks.
Not too many details, but something like:
- you get 5 attacks per 24h
- when you move in next 20 minutes comes attack
- you get minimum 50 minutes between attacks
- guarding POI increases number of attacks for ...
I was looking for article to check numbers and see whole list of explained issues.
The Archive has limits - I think you've found them! Depending on where in the world you are, and via experimentation which browser you use, depends on the results you get.
Try looking back at an earlier date if it wasn't a recent posting and you may have better results. Later postings seem to be caught up with the closure and redirects.
Forgotten Attack:
That level of detail is not something I'd expect to see from EA staff. Maybe posted this in the past but I don't recall the level of detail being officially given out (everything by EE and EA I take as been official!).
I'll check with EE on Monday and ask if they care to comment although they may not wish to do so.
