I've merged your posts together, To check which drive is TF2 installed on.
Also, for which ever drive it's on. Do you have full read/write access?
Hi, thanks for the response
Titanfall 2 (and all other games I have) are installed to my D: drive. I only have a single SSD which I've partitioned into a C: drive and D: drive. The EA app and Steam are installed on C: while all of my games are installed on D:.
Both drives have full administrator permissions. However, I noticed that both the C: (where Windows, Steam and EA app are installed )and D: (where games are installed) drives , do not have full user permissions. The active permissions under drive properties->security-->user are limited to the following:
>Read & Execute
>List Folder contents
>Read
Notably, the 'write' as well as 'modify' options are unchecked for the user section of permissions. Could this be a possible cause of my issues?
I believe that activating the write and modify permissions for the user on C: could have security implications, instead I could try installing the EA app onto my D: drive and activate all user permissions for the D: drive?
