Re: Persistent mid-game crash - "materialsystems dx11" issue?

Reporting in for same issue..

This is the message I'm getting

"Display driver stopped responding and has recovered Display driver NVIDIA Windows Kernel Mode Driver, Version 335.23 stopped responding and has successfully recovered."

I can actually get like 2-3 matches in until it crashes but it's hella annoying and barely playable.

Started off playing fine with 6-7 matches when first playing until I started getting this error.

Please, it's not a cheap game and really quite fun so please take your time devs and try to fix this one.

Setup:

Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit

Intel Core i7-3820 @ 4.0 Ghz

GTX 660 Ti

8GB DDR-1333 RAM

128GB SSD

Things I've tried:

V-Sync on/off

Turn off CPU overclock

Reinstall drivers (in many ways including complete clean installation)

Repair Game

Reinstall Game

Set TDR value to 8

Set TDRLEVEL to 0

Turning down graphics

Turning up graphics

Taking side off PC to make sure GPU/CPU isn't overheating (which they really aren't, peaking at 72 for GPU and 55 for CPU)

Reinstalled Microsoft Visual C++ 2005, 2008 and 2010

Set Power Management in Nvidia Control Panel to "Maximum Performance"

Set Multi-Display/Mixed Display-GPU Acceleration to "Single Display Performance Mode"

Taking my graphics card out and giving it a dust off + setting the cooling to keep it peaking at 62 degrees.

Switching off AA completely

Edit: Added more things to the Tried list..

  • Ok so to add the very large list of things I've tried I actually updated from Win7 Ultimate to Windows 8.1 Pro, full format and reinstall of all drivers, origin and Titanfall.

10mins into the game, crash to desktop. Seriously, it's an excellent game but this is a huge flaw!
