Comments on my mall

Hmmm...

I can see what you are trying to do, but the tools we have to work with are not helping it. I don't like how those concrete walls stack very much.

It's reminding me a little of one of the malls in GTA:SA where you go up the escalator and shoot people up on the top floor. Nice concept!

OK, what if you ditch all the brick wall, increase the pavement on the second level instead. Maybe add a fountain. Then use wood fence (brown open post, not tan picket) to make a safety railing at the edges: right corner wrapping to the front, and back side edge, of the top level? Then move the tables toward the left? And put more restaurants on top like a food court?

    Thanks neighbor! I modified it with your suggestions, looks better already. There is a bigger effect with the stairs. :
  • Using the brown fencing and an extra bench really creates a sense of depth for the the stairway, and the placement of the fountain really helps to create the illusion of a two storey complex.

    Reminds me of an outlet mall I was at on holiday...
