I made it feel more compoundy.
not my style but yes, that looks very compoundy. Only brick, stone or concrete walls would make it look more compoundy.

- also some constructive feedback:
-- the walls of your fort aren't proportional. the walls at the forefront are 7 fences high, while the ones in the back are only 4 fences high.
-- add barbwire fencing to the top instead of the wrought iron fencing you currently have. - Check out this awesome design from philieb:
