(for a noob like me on groundcover art, do you eyeball/freehand the design or s there some kind of draft/stencil u make/use to guide yourself? Thanks.)

In Photoshop I use the tile filter and adjust it to the right size. Other people may have different approaches. I plan on doing another picture so maybe I can do a how-to thread on it.
