My Squidport - feedback requested

Comparing to the original it's pretty sweet!!!

I haven't done much with mine yet. Still waiting to max out on tiles. I don't want to rework it over and over.
  • It looks really good, I don't think it needs more tiles, the design is great as is. Maybe add thanksgiving balloons to the single tiles down the side.
  • Should I be honest or gentle?.....
Honest.... I Love It, good work
It's simple and beautiful... you make me want to rearrange my SP...
  • Nice work! Looks good.

I don't think you want my feedback because I can get really neurotic about things, but here is what I can come up with. Note that these are extremely minor suggestions -- the big picture is great and it'll look good in a panorama. However, because you are loaded with tiles, there is a lot of empty space that could be filled in / balanced out more. Suggestions:

    - move the Dutchman down a space, turban outfitters to the left a space, and finish off the fence
    - move the tattoo place right and up to finish the fence and balance the empty space.
    - might consider moving another building to the row of rainsticks / itchy / muffin so there is less empty space
    - consider using things like planters, lampposts, more trees, statues, more fences, benches, fountains to fill empty space
    - agree with mpwarner re: finishing fences, and would consider moving food things to a food court area (e.g., in the bottom right) with tables spaced in a balanced way, like you have on the beach

And not to hijack, but for examples of how I tried to fill in / balance empty tile space and make a food court area, you can check out my SP (http://i154.photobucket.com/albums/s242/wadecounty44/beachfront-2898_zps4ed03746.png~original), though there are many better designs out there, and I am probably going to nuke it and start over like the rest of my town now that I have all the land.

Again, these are very minor / ana1 retentive suggestions. Great job!
