Happy there's still more than 24 hrs left to submit! I'd like to add the nativity scene in before i enter which I think I'll get later today, fingers crossed.

I am flexible with the deadline date. If people need a day or two more, I doubt anyone would complain. I've already told everyone who submitted a design that if they wanted to make changes/additions they can get and updated shot to me any time.

I did think about waiting until phase 2, but it'll be a while before tappers have a chance to collect everything - thought it'd be nice to keep the voting right around Christmas.

Which brings me to another question. What should the official title for the contest be? (this is mostly for badge/prize making purposes).

"Holiday Area Contest 2014"
"Festive Holiday Area Contest 2014"
"Christmas Area Contest 2014"

Would it be politically incorrect to call it a "Christmas" contest as there are obviously other religious celebrations that we shouldn't exclude? Does "Holiday" mostly mean "vacation" to our European and Australian tappers? "Holidays" here in the states can technically include Thanksgiving/Independence Day/Halloween/etc. so is it too vague? Am I over thinking this?

Anyway, opinions please on official title, if you'd be so kind.

I do prefer "Holiday" over "Christmas", but otherwise I'll be happy with any of the aforementioned titles.

I don't care if its not politically correct, The majority of this event is focused around Christmas, and the Simpsons celebrate Christmas, so I would vote for "Christmas Area Contest 2014"
