I found a possible explanation for the missing 24-hour job on the Marvin Monroe page on the Tapped Out Wiki. I can't confirm this, but apparently it depends on when you bought the walk-in therapy stand. If you bought it before you got to The Ungrateful Dead Pt. 7, you do not get his 24-hour task. If you buy the stand after you get to Ungrateful Dead Pt. 7, you do get the 24-hour task. As I said, I can't confirm if that's true, but I bought the stand before that part of the quest and I have never the 24-hour task in my game, so that seems to go with the comment on the wiki site said.
Here's what the comment says:When you bought it , you got a quest called Physician, Heal Thyself with the objective "Make Marvin Monroe Psychoanalyze Dr. Marvin Monroe". Depending if you have recieved this quest the game decides between two different versions of The Ungrateful Dead Pt. 7 quest. The usual one happens in the Monroe Family Therapy Center, the alternative one in the Walk-in Therapy Stand.
So if you recieved "Physician, Heal Thyself" then you also recieved the alternative Pt. 7. But in order to get the job the standard version is required.
It seems odd that it would happen like that, but it seems to be true based on how it went in my game. Did the rest of you who don't have his 24-hour task also buy the therapy stand earlier in the questline?
This sounds likely. I bought the stand immediately, and I don't have the 24 hour task.
