achievements idea

This is a great idea! :thumbup:

I never understood why they didn't have something like this from the beginning! They're trying to mess with leaderboards but that has nothing on an idea like this!

The leaderboards, although interesting, are a waste and have nothing attached except bragging rights. Get rid of those leaderboards and give us achievements!!

One question: should these be achievements shown strictly through Amazon/ Google/ iTunes or in-game only? Meaning official achievements? Either way, it would still be awesome!

Achievements can't be based on limited time events though. If the achievement system had been set up when the game started, it must still be possible for someone starting the game tomorrow to eventually unlock ALL achievements.

I figure if they started messing with leaderboards, maybe they'll try out achievements. Hell even the family guy game has them.

Well limited time achievements would just be a trophy for those that participated in the event. If a limited time achievement would give an item ea would probably sell it for donuts at some point.

I think in game would work the best.

Yes, all games should have achievements. It gives players something extra to shoot for when most other aspects of the game have been completed. Heck Jetpack Joyride has achievements :lol:

I voted No. I'm not interested in achievements in this type of game. I would hope if EA implemented such a system, it would come with the ability to disable achievements. I wouldn't want achievement quests trashing up my quest bar, and I wouldn't want the game bugging me with pop ups and notifications about achievements.

It would not fill up your quest bar. There is a button that you can click to go to an achievement page.
