So if you play only a few times and stop, I think you might reset the cycle when your next one could be a hit
I don't think that happens; at least it's never happened to me -- in my game the prize sequence always continues from the previous box. There are 8 different fixed patterns of 6-7 prizes, which are arranged into 2 repeating sequences of 98 prizes that alternate after a number of iterations.
Each prize pattern consists of 3-4 items of junk, 1 donut prize of 10 or 30 donuts and then 2-3 premium items.
A couple more tips:
* Every time you win 4 items of junk in a row, the next prize is always 30 donuts (altogether making those 5 boxes cost neutral). You can then continue playing to collect the premium items.
* 32 donuts is enough to complete any of the 8 different patterns of 6-7 prizes. In most cases slightly fewer (28-30 donuts) are required.
Does it include quitting the game and then playing at a later time? Would the cycle stay? I have not tried analysing this before.
while i haven't actually analyzed anything, i do believe she is right about the cycle staying. this has been my experience as well anyway.
