Another tip for maximising cash and XP income which may seem obvious but can easily be missed is to make sure you send non-premium characters on premium jobs where available.
For example, if you have just purchased the Cypress Creek Elementary, there is a new 60min premium job for the kids, including non-premium characters like Rodd & Todd, Fallout Boy, Database, Janey and Jamshed.
So sending these characters on the Go on a field trip job at the CCE will earn $105 cash and 26xp instead of the normal non-premium payouts.
There's many more examples of where non-premium characters can go on premium jobs and earn the extra income and xp.
I wish the task manager would always send characters on the highest earning job for whatever time is selected. Going through each character one by one just takes too much time for me.
You would have really hated life before the unemployment office came around!
I did hate it. I've played since the beginning and there was probably a year stretch that once I reached 100 million I just stopped sending characters on jobs.
Didnt realize you had been around that long. The UO was a godsend.
Yeah. I just recently joined this forum. Used another one for years."rw228;c-1610181" wrote:

Yes. I was tapping like crazy and I swear I will get arthritis fingers soon. Luckily the unemployment office came along."rw228;c-1610353" wrote:

Thank you. Someone did say welcome but it's always nice to hear more."168sean168;c-1609799" wrote:
So if you play only a few times and stop, I think you might reset the cycle when your next one could be a hit
I don't think that happens; at least it's never happened to me -- in my game the prize sequence always continues from the previous box. There are 8 different fixed patterns of 6-7 prizes, which are arranged into 2 repeating sequences of 98 prizes that alternate after a number of iterations.
Each prize pattern consists of 3-4 items of junk, 1 donut prize of 10 or 30 donuts and then 2-3 premium items.
A couple more tips:
* Every time you win 4 items of junk in a row, the next prize is always 30 donuts (altogether making those 5 boxes cost neutral). You can then continue playing to collect the premium items.
* 32 donuts is enough to complete any of the 8 different patterns of 6-7 prizes. In most cases slightly fewer (28-30 donuts) are required."girl22721;c-1610554" wrote:

Does it include quitting the game and then playing at a later time? Would the cycle stay? I have not tried analysing this before.- Yes, as above, in my game the prize sequence always continues from the previous box.

while i haven't actually analyzed anything, i do believe she is right about the cycle staying. this has been my experience as well anyway."tapebelt;c-1610647" wrote:
