- It may not be your password. Before you put in your password, slowly reread what you typed in as your email. One wrong letter or number in your email and it won’t accept your password. I’m not saying this is the only problem, but as I play multiple towns, each with their own email, I find myself typing it in wrong. (Emails from multiple sources. Gmail, yahoo, mail, spectrum, and Hotmail)
- Willy9292Rising VanguardJust a thought , because I have experienced this. My phones autocorrect inserts a space immediately after I type my email. If I don't notice the cursor is one character to the right of the last character of the address, I can't log in. The login system does not strip the trailing space, but sees it as part of the email.
- Try to do a clean on device, then restart the phone. Also can uninstall and reinstall if you have an account.
- Same issue here - over an over. Seems I have to reset the password every day. I reset it, write it down and the next day I can't log in again. Very frustrating at this point.

General troubleshooting tips:- Update your device software
- Check for any Tapped Out update in store
- Log out/Log back in
- Restart device
- Clear cache
- Free up space (some Apple devices may require 4-5GB free space)
- Hard close the game and restart
- Load on another device
- Try a different wifi/connection/internet/broadband
- Accept or decline any pending friend requests
- Change your password ( only use letters and numbers, no symbols )
- If connected to EA/Origin: uninstall / reinstall game (Do NOT do this if you play anonymously)
There are a few ways to try and fix this issue - several players have reported that the following has worked for this situation:- Wait for a period of time and then try again

Also make sure you input your age correctly. This error may also occur if you input an age lower than the minimum for playing Tapped Out. (Age requirement may vary from one country to another).

- wadebearRetired HeroI can't log in on my Fire Tablet since last night. It's not the account - it's the device. I can log in to the account and play it on my iPad. It wouldn't even get as far as the log in screen on the Fire.
I tried every trick I could think of to try to get it to play on the Fire - except resetting our home internet, apparently I was too tired to think of that. But I did link my Fire to my phone's wireless hotspot - that didn't work either.
I finally gave in and deleted it, shut down the tablet and restarted. Then it wouldn't download the data. I'd get a megabyte or 2 of data then get kicked out. Over and over. It's finally downloading this morning but it's still doing it in bits and snatches... There! It finally finished! Over 30 minutes of Retrying and Restarting. - naswales925NewcomerI have been stuck with the spinning donut. I have uninstalled and now the download gets stuck at 95%
update - Finally got in downloaded and game working again.
