You start a crop at the farm. You send Marge the Witch on the 4 hour task. Four hours later a total of 8 hours are taken off the crop time. So you can grow an 8 hour crop of Silvertougue in 4 hours. Or Moonshine could be done in 12 hours instead of 24.
The real payoff for this is Corn, Actual Corn. But Marge is used in events so much now that you can't keep her on the task.
