Seriously I traded my watch for a sundial and now it's night, and that was X hours ago, cause I don't know what time it is.
Point here is longer acts means more players (especially newer ones can catch up), the event is mildly enjoyable, nice content, repetitive gameplay however.
So in conclusion, what time is it?
Rock around the clock Time

Wonder why they made this event longer then the usual too-long events
Probably to give some people a chance to catch up as not everyone finish in time. - Actually for me the game does provide a level of challenge. I am not finished three days into an event because my bonus multiplier is so astronomical that I can afford to rush everything with my gargantuan pile of donuts (really a boring option, IMO). On the other hand, I am not playing at some desperate, frenzied pace and worried that I won't finish in time. Most events for me can be finished within a day or so of the end of acts; in fact, two events ago I was actually down to the wire finishing acts with literally minutes to spare, because I wasn't logging in religiously (I had actual deadlines IRL). That is my preferred speed of gameplay.
No one wants to play as you suggest...not even the new players who may be struggling with this event (but I doubt it). I think people have a valid complaint this go round because of the sheer length of it, and the fact that EA cannot seem to get the glitch ironed out, which I believe is making the extension a necessity. It has nothing to do with making the game some kind of cakewalk. Any other of the recent events? Yes, I'd probably say that the players complaining have made things too easy. But this one is different. - jaythecanadianNewcomerI already finished the act 1 prizes last Friday night.
- I have rushed a little bit into Acts; not so to "race out into the lead" or anything; but to get a feel of the Act, how to optimize my characters into giving me the most currency for the smallest time.

Define life as we're living it now even when playing this game. :joy: "OhHappyJays;c-1936491" wrote:

I do this as well. Usually the only things I rush are the "send x number of Springfielders to..." types because those annoy me, but often at the start of an event I'm a little blurry as to the objective so I'll rush a job or two just to work out the particulars.
