I'm almost positive that the gift cards people are referring to are itunes gift cards.

I already have a card on file with apple for the occasional purchase, however this time I want to purchase the donuts with another card, and don't feel like switching which card is on file with Apple.
Idk if it's different for Apple as i havent been on ios for a long time but Ik on Google play and windows phone can add more than one card on file then switch payment methods
