Can’t get in again

I’ve just noticed, having deleted and reinstalled....again....that when I try to login it goes through to the splash screen while downloading but in the bottom left of the screen it shows as logged in at level 1, however the name against it is jehb and then some numbers after.
The jehb bit is the first part of the email I use to login and then the next two numbers are part of the email but the rest are nothing to do with it, what is going on?

I’m level 939 or what ever the top level is and have spent quite a bit of real money, I hope it isn’t all lost?

It sounds like you need to do a clean install. Pull up the app manager and swipe away all open apps. Uninstall. Hold the power button until it asks you to power down - then do it. Wait 1 minute. Go get a coffee or something. Turn it back on and install.
Make sure you do NOT try to log in until all the updates have downloaded.

Switching to mobile data fixed it for me. No need to drink a coffee I got logged in quicker than it takes to boil a kettle.

Hi both, thanks for both suggestions but unfortunately they didn’t work, however I just ignored the game for a few days and played Clash of Clans instead and came back today and it’s working again, oh well ?

Quite a common issue that is usually caused by the lack of storage space on Apple devices (although it does occasionally happen to Android users too).

I have over 80GB free on Android. Weird.

80gig free should be plenty, have you tried clearing your cache and cleaning up all your old temp files?

The repeated Bart screens can sometimes be a server end issue, but it telling you to re-download 1 gig suggests a device problem to me.

Good old-fashioned "I.T solution 101" is always worth a try too. Power off both your device and your broadband router, wait a few minutes then boot 'em both up. I've even had problems solved by deleting my WiFi network from my phone and then "re-discovering" it, there's no logic to it but hey if it works what the hell?
It's like in the old days when the old CRT TV would act up and Dad would go and bang on the box to fix it. ??

Do you have one of those "speed your device up" or "spring cleaning" apps? 'Cause they delete your Temp files - and the files you keep having to download are Temp files.
Another possibility: Are you recording long videos on your device? That can also dump your Temp files.

Ever since I started playing at start of Act 3, I have had a lot of Bart screens and it’s a new iPad???
Fox screen, splash screen, Bart.
Fox screen, Bart, splash screen.
Playing the game then Bart.

Bart has been visiting a bit more than usual for me too @KLmaker.
I blame Boris for relaxing the lockdown rules, now the schools are open again Bart's not under adult supervision & he's got into that there interweb.
But then again I blame Boris for pretty much everything, so I might be biased. ?
