@Stinkbugger, I started playing last August so we're pretty close there. I really have not bought anymore land than I need. Just enough to make an even square but not cram everything together.
I only play freemium. Building my Springfield and decorating it is as serious as I'm taking it. Just a fun virtual toy pretty much. I love video games but in terms of this its not exactly a game and having premium buildings and such isn't worth real life money imo.
@smohqy, That's good advice and pretty much what I've been doing. I did a bit of house farming at first but it's ugly and really don't need to do that now anyway. I consider myself to have pretty good patience. I just think some of the things are kinda ridiculous cause like...what's the point? Just to be annoying? Premium items I understand but even some of those are absurd. Some of the smallest, mundane things cost donuts and I'm like...really? - _ -
