catnip and statue hoarding?
Are these two things going to be of use in act 2, or is it worth trading them all in for antlers to put towards bonuts?

This has been discussed already, but I'll add my 2 cents here.
You'll notice that for the buildings, there are 2 more to be available in the next act. These are not replacing the first 2, they are in addition. So just like with the monorail, we'll have more materials to exchange rather than just different ones.
I am hoarding some of mine because I want to do the monorail with a minimum of interference with the event, so I can have my peeps working the recycling and still have enough material available for exchanging for those couple of days.
For each player, the strategy differs. For some, they have already earned all of the prizes for Act 1. Depends on what you really are looking for.
