What, exactly, is "cavdoohattun"?
Poor stevieort. Victim to our crazy group's name nside joke. Johncolombo commented days ago that the elf portal was being referred to as a cave, a door, a hatch and a tunnel, and (I'm paraphrasing here) challenged me to declare one official. Hence " cavdoohattun" was born, and I figured that would be the end of it, but it seems to have picked up a little steam with a small group. (And when I say "small" I mean "insane").
I would say this is correct. Then Lisa et named the last prize, the island, cavdoohattun island by spelling it out in her town and made an arrow pointing to it. Someone else posted a song to remember how to say the word. It's really taken on a life of its own.
Great. Now you've got me humming " Fre're Jacques " again. ;)
Funny thing is Annette, I've found myself sing the English version over and over
oh it also works with "Cavdoo hattun pacem pacem Cavdoo hattun pacem "
get that one stuck in your head it's in mine.
- O, Cavdoohattun
our home and native island... - I keep spelling it wrong we need a spell it correctly song.

@johncolombo: Don't blame me for this. You were the one who established the word order in your initial post about caves, doors, hatches and tunnels.
If you had bothered to think ahead it could have ended up something simple to remember, like tundoohatcav ... (which frankly just rolls off the tongue.) But, no. You just had to make things complicated.
To the rest of you ... Remember this:annettemarc wrote:

you remember how this started, right, with the Toy Workshop vs. Santa's Workshop debate? There might have been a third item and people were using terms all willy nilly.johncolombo wrote:

Santa's Village. (Let's not go there.)- When I was visiting lisaet's town and saw that I had a really good laugh (I have the flu - it was a late Christmas gift from my brother - so it ended up in a coughing fit, but there was laughter through the coughing)!

Hmmm. I don't know if this will take off with the Canadian government, but I think it's kind of catchy... - barryriddl474Seasoned Newcomer

Thanks Barry! I'm super tired and feel like I'm going to melt half the time, like I'm in the North Pole the other half. And the sinus infection isn't helping... The antibiotics will help take care of that, though.
I'm trying to keep up with visits (missed a day, so I apologize to my neighbours) and clearing things in my SF... Bleh. I feel pretty crummy, though. But that cavdoohattun thing was just so good! Made me feel a bit better! :D- barryriddl474Seasoned Newcomer

I've only had the flu twice (once also from my brother at Christmas), but I know it can be rough, so I'm sure all of us will understand if you miss a few days visiting or whatever you need.
