- What eactly are you contactng them in regards to?
- I'm not one to air my dirty laundry here..but let's say I have a complaint that has not even been answered in 10 days..
If I don't get a response quick I will let it fly here for everyone to read.. - EA has been known to not respond for months. So, good luck.
- If its a refund contact Itunes...but for anything else that line is very long!!!
- There is one word to describe their customer service (feel free to add additional swears before that word) TERRIBLE.
- I had the crash at the Fox screen while purchasing donuts issue and contacted EA Customer Service on 12/6/12. I got a reply on 12/20 which really didn't help me much, wrote them back on 12/23 about how their reply didn't help, and then heard back from them on 12/25. Their final answer to my problem was that my original iPad was probably crashing because of its older ios, even though my version was later than the 4.3 they mentioned as a minimum.
So, they did get back to me, eventually, first with a a stock response that was of little help and later with a more helpful (and honest?) answer. - If your complaint is about the crash...that too is a long line.
- They are probably one of the worst customer services I have come across. I had an issue months ago that anytime I tried to access a friends town the game would crash on both my iDevices. They came back with the stock list of reseting the devices etc, I would point out that I had advised them of this at the time or reporting the issue. After a month they came back with another list of common sense things to try, by this time I had fixed the issue myself by removing 1 friend from the list when I eventually got logged in.
I know EA are a big company but if they are going to offer support for their games then they need to have the staff and the ability to read emails to support it. - Here is my issue..
On the Dec 22 I dropped $100.00 for a boatload of donuts. Two reasons, I WAS enjoying TSTO, and EA is local to me, so why not support a local business.
Less than 6 hours later they put donuts on sale.. I would have only needed drop $50.00 to have completed my building collection.
The irritation come from the lack of a response in asking for some help..
Bottom line.. I want a full refund and they can keep the game.. I am disappointed in the "customer NO service" :x - What is the best method for contacting apple?
