Lots of tapping. Clear your town every 2 to 4 hours to do the following. I think this is it

Event tasks
Cecils tasks
Random tasks (once you finished the part 1 quests)
squishing mutant veggies
sending and squishing mutant seeds
friend visits.

I'm just barely ahead of the pace. This event seems like it will be tight.

I cant see how its possible to get this many spades a day......can someone help me out? I've was a day or so late coming in, but now three days in and I only have 1700 spades. How can this be achieved?

I get the full day of Cecil's daily tasks and tap the relevant buildings

When can I get stuff from friends? I really dont understand how this even works.....

With the randomtasks spread the characters with the same job so you have dont have to wait long to have the next job. (See thread) :wink:

But these tasks dont award shovels do they?

I have all my 4-hr characters running as well as 8hr, but I'm so far away from the goal, I cant see it happen, unless the award for shovels doubles in a (very near) upgrade.....
