Neighbor: My real life friend, Ike, picked up my I phone, asked me for my I tunes username and password so he could install a free game, and started me from there. We were hanging out that day getting ready to watch the WVU vs Oklahoma college football game in November 2012 that evening. Ike had played the Halloween 2012 event, and then he turned on 5 of us at this football party and we have all played since then.
Donut purchase: I stayed freemium for quite awhile, until July 2013, when I finally bought my first 300 donuts. I then purchased Abe Lincoln and the cabin for my first purchase. Several purchases later, I definitely enjoy the premium side of things. Funny, my friend, Ike, who started us all on this, has remained freemium the entire time, still plays daily, but has never spent real life cash on the game. Several of the items he has earned by completing every single event since Halloween 2012 have now turned into premium items. So Ike has a nice town in that regards, and a pretty decent multiplier, for never having spent his own money on donuts.
