Don't kill me kill the boy

"don't kill me kill the boy" is probably my favorite notification voice drop in the game. my kids love it.
  • First, welcome to the forums! 8)
Second, my condolences on the loss of your time, sanity, and ability to read forums without getting angry, upset, fuming, and wanting to throw the computer out the window

Third, this is something that happens to everyone at least once. Consider it a rite of passage as a Tapped Out player   The forum has some hilarious stories of others who have had this happen to them, but your incident is a first

Enjoy the game, hope you stick around, and hope things don't get too rowdy for your tastes. 8)
  • I was filling out an application for a job in a small room with one other person. He kept getting txt after txt, and then my tablet shouts out about visitors and putting pants on, and that made both of us laugh. I turned the sound off before the interview. :)

On iOS devices, you can keep notifications on and turn the sound off to just the annoying apps in your preferances, so I'm guessing this is more of an android problem

It used to be, on Android at least, that you could turn off just the sound if you wanted to, within the game. You had the choice of notifications and sound if you had them on. Now it's just notifications on or off.

On Android KitKat, you can turn notifications on or off for any app in system settings, but you can't say silent or not. I don't know if that's better in Lollipop.
  • the first time homer said something out loud off went the sound notifications, I do however get screen pop ups from the game. iOS.
  • The ONLY notification I've ever received was, "Better them than me!"

    I'm missing out...
