Great post. I've been playing this game since the beginning and have virtually all the characters and I love building my Springfield. Like JennaKaten93, this game has gotten me through difficult times in my life, including the loss of a love one. This game enabled me to forget reality, forget my pain, if only momentarily, but it helped in a small way.
EA, please make this game playable offline. I don't care if there are no new storylines and my characters doing the same jobs over and over. Please!
