100% false. The baskets are optional. Basically a neighbor can "donate" their egg color to you. After it maxes out, you collect eggs of that color. No idea on limits or anything. Donater is said to get some eggs back after collection or something.These are NOT required:- You gather eggs by zapping bunnies (1 or 2 eggs per bunny)- You gather eggs by visiting friends - tapping buildings only - some holiday buildings don't give eggs (Clausco, Shamrock Cafe) - Graffiti does NOT give eggs- Redeem 500 of that color for a mystery box to win prizes.Blue are common, pink are uncommon, gold are rare. No idea where gold are found, so far only see in Blue and Pink prize menus. I didn't get a single one visiting friends. Blue and pink were found in friends towns, many more blues than pink.

You don't have to buy the baskets. You can collect pink and yellow eggs by taping on bunnies and visiting your neighbors. It will take longer than having someone fill a basket for you, but it can be done.

Considering the laundry list of prizes, I'll have to seriously consider those baskets. Or at least the pink one.

You can also win a basket by tapping bunnies, I just got a blue one.

When you consider that you can trade pink eggs for blue eggs and blue for gold, I suspect the pink are the more common.

Easter is here....BUT IT COSTS YOU DONUTS TO GET THE PRIZES?!?!?

Definitely, I just want to know which one might be better to buy. I thought pink, then someone else said blue, then someone else said pink, then a blue one came from a bunny, but do pink ones come from bunnies? I'm sort of glad I'll have a day for stuff to be clarified :shock:

Here's what I've gathered regarding this update:

Smithers + Ebenezer Burns 24hr task now pay out correctly (600 to 1200)

Some Trees and fences now have flowers or some kind of hygienic paper on it :lol:

It seems that the Building over Characters glitch has been fixed

You can rush the quests from the task book now. It also shows you how much time for completion you wait.

Last but not least with this update, all of them sum up 666,6 :twisted:

Edit: Oh, and by tapping the hand shakes, you get FP now. Previously you'd only gain by cleaning the spray action

i am with both of you as well but this talk about needing the baskets is something i want to understand because if i need them to complete the event then i will have to buy them because it will be worth it. if i don't need them or can win them then i will pass on buying the baskets.
only one person has a basket in my friends list and I can only donate my eggs to this person, so I think you need baskets for me (neighbour) to donate. You can win baskets too, I'll help you out when I can maxx :D

so you are saying you can only give eggs to people with baskets?
yes sir! You get a button you press to navigate to their baskets, and in your town and others that have yet not got a basket do not have that button when I vist

I just saw that the blocko store is in pink boxes. So do I need a pink basket to get pink eggs? Or do the pink baskets give my neighbors pink eggs for blue ones and I get the blue ones?

No, Pink eggs are more randomly given out. You can find them tapping on bunnies or visiting friends (or a prize from blue I believe). There's also a premium item that generates 300 pink eggs per 24 hours - 65 donuts.

The baskets ONLY payout when your neighbors GIVE you their eggs. Neighbors that give blue egg donations convert to pink eggs, neighbors pink egg donations convert to blue (based on the diagram shown for the event).
