Never seen that warning. I uninstall and reinstall through the marketplace, but I don't know why it would delete anything saved through Origin. Only do what you feel comfortable with. barryriddl474 wrote:

You saw the correct message for uninstalling an app on iPad. You can safely proceed. Then download the app again. Once you log back in you will see your town as you last left it. I swear! :Djippy6048 wrote:

I believe Marketplace is Amazon...Play is Google.
Don't worry about losing your game, it's just like others have said it's saved to the servers so it acts as if you logged out when you delete the app.
The only downside to uninstalling and reinstalling is the wait for the game to fully update to the most recent updates, which can be annoying but it's worth it.- Ok will give it a try......
- Okay I deleted and reinstalled. The good news is I got my town back and all was well. The bad news...still getting FP's :(
Well hopefully we will get an update soon that could fix the issue or may have to contact EA.
Thanks for the help tonight :wink: - If it is still giving you FP and not donuts then you have got to knuckle down and contact EA, something is clearly wrong and you are missing out on the chance of donuts.

While visiting my neighbors I noticed that I was getting FP points. Also saw a couple float in my own town clearing handshakes. Since I had gotten the last prize some time ago I checked to see if we had new prizes, but it said that I have collected all FP prizes. :shock:
I am not seeing that they are accumulating. Glitch or maybe future prize in the works?

Update: I was hoping that when we finished up the Christmas event and received a new download that the FP point issue would clear itself. Sadly, that didn't happen. Today I contacted EA and chose the 'call me' option. Less then 10 minutes passed when I received a call.
After I explained my situation, the EA rep tried his best to resolve my issue, but he was unable to. My case (which he said is unusual) is going up to the next set of techs. And I was told it may take up to a week or more for them to check it out. In the mean time the EA rep gave 200 donuts for my inconvenience! :shock: I thought maybe I would get a few but I was overwhelmed with 200!!! He also took the time to make sure they were credited to my account.
This is my first experience dealing with EA and so far I feel like the tech tried to fix my game while I was waiting and even though he was unsuccessful he seemed genuinely interested in seeing me get to the more advanced techs. Will update again when something happens.
Moderators please feel free to move this to the Bugs & Issues section if you feel it belongs there rather then Game Discussion.
